Simple IPv6 detector widget for WordPress to show if user is connecting with IPv6 or IPv4.<\/p>\n\n

Additionaly, it makes a link to a whois service with the ip address.<\/p>\n\n

It was born because of my own blog. I needed to include a little box that shows users ip and different messages depending on the ip version.<\/p>\n\n

The idea behind this is to promote and leave a way to discover and make sense about the ipv4 address space limits.<\/p>\n\n\n

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.<\/p>\n\n

  1. Upload ipv6detector<\/code> to the \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> directory<\/li>\n
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
