This Plugin allows you to create and add crosswords to pages on your Wordpress website. Blocks functionality is required in this version, to add Crosswords to a Wordpress page.\nThe admin interface provides a way for users to make use of AI to generate lists of words and hints to be used in their crosswords.\nIt also provides a way to use the Creatorive's Crossword generation tool to automatically create a Crossword from your list of words and hints.<\/p>\n\n

All the above functionality is optional. You can also create a Crossword manually, within the Plugin, by typing your word list, or by manually adding words to a Crossword.\nSee this video: Crosswords in Wordpress<\/a> on our YouTube Channel for an example of usage.<\/p>\n\n

Installation and use of this plugin is straightforward:<\/p>\n\n

  1. Download the plugin files and copy to your Plugins directory.<\/li>\n
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.<\/li>\n
  3. Navigate to Dashboard, Ev Crosswords Settings.<\/li>\n
  4. (Optionally) Configure your AI Provider and Creatorive key.<\/li>\n
  5. Generate word lists and Crossword files using those APIs, or<\/li>\n
  6. Alternatively, paste manually created Crossword files in the text area provided within the \"Generate\" page.<\/li>\n
  7. Save your Crossword file, and add it to any Wordpress page you want to, as a Block, using the Wordpress Block Editor.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

    What does this plugin do?<\/h3><\/dt>\n

    It makes easy adding crosswords to pages on your Wordpress website. You can do so with or without AI help.<\/p><\/dd>\n

    It does not directly create Crosswords from a simple prompt, it just gives you an easy way to use to AI tools to create lists of words and hints and then to use those words to create a crossword.<\/p><\/dd>\n
