METAR-widget lets you enter an ICAO station (airport) in the widget admin and will display the according METAR code as widget on your wordpress site.\nThe METAR data used is provided by NOAA.<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. Unzip metar-widget.zip<\/li>\n
  2. Upload the metar-widget<\/code> folder into the \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> directory on the server<\/li>\n
  3. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress<\/li>\n
  4. Place the metar-widget in the wordpress admin interface<\/li>\n
  5. Enter an ICAO code for the respective airport (e.g. OMDB for Dubai, United Arab Emirates or VTSR for Siem Reap, Cambodia)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

    METAR is a format for reporting weather information. A METAR weather report is predominantly used by pilots in fulfillment of a part of a pre-flight weather briefing, and by meteorologists, who use aggregated METAR information to assist in weather forecasting.<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n\n
