\u2022 OpenStreetMap \u2013 Loads map tiles when a map is viewed. Sends map coordinates only (no personal data).

  1. Upload the plugin folder to \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code>\nAlternatively, you can upload the plugin\u2019s ZIP file via Plugins > Add Plugin in your WordPress admin panel.<\/li>\n
  2. After installing the plugin, activate the plugin by clicking the \u201cActivate\u201d button, and that\u2019s it! You\u2019re ready to setup your map<\/li>\n
  3. Navigate to MapSamurai Lite > Maps<\/strong> to set up your first map<\/li>\n
  4. Navigate to MapSamurai Lite > Map Locations<\/strong> to start creating locations<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    To display your map on the frontend, use the shortcode generated at the top of your Map Settings page. It will look like this: [mapsamurai_map map_id=\"123\" height=\"600\" width=\"600\"]<\/code> (you can edit the height and width as needed). Simply copy and paste that shortcode anywhere you'd like your map to appear throughout your site.<\/p>\n\n

    Why doesn't MapSamurai Lite use Google Maps?<\/h3><\/dt>\n

    MapSamurai Lite uses OpenStreetMap instead of Google Maps to avoid API keys, usage limits, and privacy concerns. This makes maps faster to set up, and free from usage-based fees or changing terms.<\/p><\/dd>\n
