WP Color Browser uses the theme-color meta tag which is used in browsers such as Google Chrome to customize the mobile browser. Currently WP Color Browser is only working on the mobile version of Google Chrome because that is the only browser to implement the theme-color meta tag. More settings will be added to the plugin as more browers adopt use of theme-color and other meta tags.<\/p>\n\n

WP Color Browser can be installed either by downloading the zip file and uploading it to your website via WordPress, or by finding it in the WordPress plugin directory.<\/p>\n\n

  1. Navigate to 'Add New' in the plugins dashboard<\/li>\n
  2. Navigate to the 'Upload' area<\/li>\n
  3. Select wp-color-browser.zip<\/code> from your computer<\/li>\n
  4. Click 'Install Now'<\/li>\n
  5. Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    Using FTP<\/h4>\n\n

    1. Extract the wp-color-browser.zip<\/code> file to your computer<\/li>\n
    2. Upload the wp-color-browser<\/code> directory to the \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> directory<\/li>\n
    3. Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

      Navigate to Appearance > Color Browser and choose the color you would like to use.<\/p><\/dd>\n

      Which browsers does WP Color Browser work with?<\/dt>\n
